Hi there! following prob: For my Leveleditor I made a Controlview derived from a Dialog in A Rebar... the Rebar is located on the right side of Mainframe... now, how do I establish the connection between the Dialog Control and the current Active Document? I obviously can''t use the GetDocument() in my Doc-Standard View...grml... I''m sure some MFC guru out there knows how to handle that! thx in advance.. cya, Phil Visit Rarebyte! and no!, there are NO kangaroos in Austria (I got this questions a few times over in the states

CChildFrame* pWnd = (CChildFrame*) GetParent();
CPhilmapDoc* pDoc = (CPhilmapDoc*) pWnd->GetActiveDocument();
pDoc->BGColor[0] = 100;
AfxMessageBoxf(pDoc->BGColor[0]);

ok.. i figured that out..
i get the messagebox with the right value, but right after that the programm crashes with an access error...
any ideas? tipps?
thx,

Phil
