Hi, I have build up a 3D scene using Java3D and would now like to move the view smoothly around from point to point,in order to see it from different locations. I have looked at the Java3D example for Interpolator behavious and believe this is the way forward. However I am trying to use the viwPlatform.setViewPlatformBehaviour() function to make the interpolator move the view platform around. Is this the right way to go about it ? Any help would be greatly appreciated ... Thanks Chris Pook www.students.ncl.ac.uk/chris.pook/dissertation.html

Dont worry Ive sorted it...

Just pass viewingPlatform.getTransform() to the Interpolator constructor instead of a TransformGroup.

interpolator = new KBRotPosScaleSplinePathInterpolator(animAlpha, viewingPlatform.getViewPlatformTransform(),yAxis, linearKeyFrames);
