Okay, I''ve thought about this a whole lot lately, and its kinda been bugging me. I''m sure all of you are aware of the fouthcoming OpenML.. I don''t actually know much about it, and was hoping you guys could clear a few things up.. 1) Will our current OpenGL code work with it?? ( I.E, will OpenML be an extension to OpenGL. ) 2) If not, is it worth us learning OpenGL, or is OpenML going to totally replace it? 3) ( Only Nehe can answer this one )... will you be making any kewl tutorials for OpenML??? LOL... I think I''ll learn OpenGL even if its going to be replaced.. just like I learned Direct3D,( and now wouldn''t touch it with a 10ft barge pole. ), and thats kinda obsolete nowadays.. or at least it will be. Still, keep up the wicked work Jeff, I look forward to the new tutorials.. You''ve already taught me so much.. as soon as I''m a little better I''ll make some contributions to the site ( programs/games e.t.c ).. Oh, and thanx in advance for any replies you guys give.. Peace, Out.. ~Cobra~

read the above link for all the info about openml

u might wanna look into scenegraphs
i believe in a couple of years ppl will be using scenegraphs for the bulk of their 3d work. opengl + d3d will still be around of course but will gradually fade out of use

Scenegraphs ?? Won''t we still have to use GL and D3D to decipher and display the scenegraphs? Or am I way off topic and just an idiot
