Just wondering... Is there any way you can use a USB joypad for input in java? I'm thinking of doing a two player game where the first player uses keyboard/mouse for input and player two uses the joypad. Is this posible using the JDK alone or do i need some sort of additional class library? Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure if you can do it with just the JDK. You could try JInput

Cool.. I think I'll give that JInput a shot- looks like it should do the job nicely. Hopefully I'll be able to figure it out.

Interesting.. Didn't know there was SDL for java!... I probably should have used this to begin with on my current project. Although JOGL and JOAL are working out quite nicely at the momement for me.

Thanks for your help anyway.
