Hey all, I've posted this on the Dev C++ forums as well, but thought I would toss it out here to see if anyone has come across it here too. I get an annoying error pretty much every time I open a Dev C++ project in which I have set the executable output directory:
I've, of course, set the .exe output directory to "Output", which exists already. - If I try to compile right away, each source file gives this error. (Talk about annoying!) - If I change the Project settings to use no output directory, save this, then change it back to "Output", it works fine. - This happens on Windows apps, Console apps, and has occured across multiple installations on two different computers (my home and my work computer, which are both WinXP SP2). Both use the latest (4.9.9.2) build of DevC++. - System restore is turned off on both computers. - No antivirus on my home computer, McAfee Antivirus installed on the work computer. - I've tried changing permissions on the Output directory, but it is owned by my Windows account, and is read/write. - No other applications I use give similar errors. I'm certain it's the fault of the IDE, but if someone can shed some insight, it'd be much appreciated! Thanks!
