Thinking about it, it probably wouldn't suit the community, but theres no harm in suggesting ideas, What about a forum where members can play word games etc. with each other, a way to wind down after some programming... (please note if their is one i'm sorry, I just havn't came across it yet) Word games, such as: - The story game - Post something about the last poster - The Abc game - The last letter game - Paste your clipboard - Etc. If your interested on creating a forum of this nature and need any help in setting it up, game ideas etc. I have loads, feel free to PM me, or if you want i'm willing to run it for you... Thanks for your time.

People seem to be quite happy starting/running these threads in the lounge. The moderators don't usually mind them unless (or until) they go on too far and/or get silly [smile]

Not sure you really need a whole new forum for this sort of thing!

These threads typically last about as long as it takes for a moderator to spot them. I shut them down immediately because to me it's basically the equivalent of board spamming.

I get enough of that in email.. I don't need to read it on the boards. If you need to blow off steam then play a video game. =)

For a better quality 'game', you could look into the "forum writing game" currently being run in Writing For Games - they tend to have them from time to time. Personally I find the overly simple word games like most of the ones you mentioned a waste of time.

No! I read the title, "Think of a word game", and then saw the 'last word', "Closed". Ok at the time I laughed because I thought it was funny. If I try to explain anymore I think I will only do harm upon myself [lol].
