Well i got a problem. there is a function in my code which needs opengl.dll and i've read on some websites, that this dll isn't supported either. ok now does someone of you know a list where those functions are listed or maybe you know it because it's often used? ... the code was partially updated by a friend of mine and he also doesn't know which function it was....

Don't mess with opengl32.dll. If you need some OpenGL 1.2+ stuff use extensions.

If you're using gl functions you need to include the correct header (gl/gl.h probably) and link to the OpenGL import library (probably called something like OpenGL32.lib).

well i use glu.h, glut.h and my libs are: opengl32.lib, glut.lib, glut32.lib and glu32.lib....

but the program is searching for opengl.dll. if i set the file into the system directory i get a error message that there is an initializing problem at 0x00000c...

i have no idea what this problem causes... i think it's the opengl.dll.. and this is the reason why i want to kick opengl.dll out of the program.!

Get rid of glut.lib because it uses opengl.dll
Only use the "32" libraries.

opengl.dll is 100% software implementation by sgi from many years ago. the app has linked to it most like ly cause its an old application/demo anyways its not recommended
