It has been discused a thousand times, I know, but what do you think is important when creating characters for yur game ? Characters that will be remembered afterwards, like Laura Crouft and Souper Mariou ? Thatm ight even becomme Virtual Character (esp. like Laura Crouft) ? In the case of Lara Croft - lots of ''pixels'' or ''texels''

As for the REAL good characters... Hmmm, a decent background and immaginative dialogue

good point, darkmage ...

It is incredible the few game characters that have become household names. Video games are still kind of seen as meaningless and wasteful by the mass society, yet a few characters have managed to squeeze their way into pop culture.

I guess it's like that w/ everything though...comic books, etc
