Does anyone know of a program I can use to test out sprites, tiles, etc? Basically, so I can check out the sprites in a game like setting. Just walking around, and movement, no rpg elements, etc. Please, if possible, free.

I have never heard of one, and here is my guess as to why.

given the various, formats, properties and packing structure; writing a 'generic' sprite viewer isn't very practical, rather you should use a program developed for the sprites that you are using.
