new license for medieval pack, can you review it guys?
Here is the new license: http://www.tridinaut.com/license.htm Does that look okej to you guys? It's more friendly now to customer and protects us as well.
Sounds a lot better. I´d still expand it a little for the sake of thoroughness:
I. Acquiring the license grants the right to use, fully or in part, the content of the Medieval Weapons Pack ("weapons pack") in any of your own game productions, regardless of number of titles or time elapsed since acquiring the license.
Modification of any of the components of the weapons pack is prohibited unless necessary for the technical integration into your game production.
II. Redistribution, in whole or in part, in modified or original form is prohibitied in all cases except when integrated with your game production. Redistribution in this form does not grant the right to any third party to export, modify, extract or otherwise use the weapons pack in any way other than integrated in your game production.
Any license that is issued with your game production must include either this, or a similar clause that prohibits the external use, modification or extraction of the weapons pack or any components thereof.
Tridinaut Graphic Group must be mentioned in the credits of any game production that utilises either fully or in part the weapons pack.
III. Tridinaut retains all the copyrights to the Medieval Weapons Pack and any models derived from it. Tridinaut retains the right to resell this work at any price to anyone else, or stop selling it at any time.
IV. Tridinaut retains the right to revoke the license in case of noncompliance with II.
In the end we would like to advise you to protect our work as your own.

Hase's version is much clearer...
Though, yours is a vast improvement over the last one.

I personally would skip the deal with this additional statement. No one wants to have the exact same weapons in their game that other games are going to have. Modification is necessary to make the weapons unique. Besides, as long as they don't get redistributed, there's no harm in it.

The weapons are cheap, but they aren't free. You're treating it as such. Not that I have a problem with this, but I doubt it should be part of the license.

Ok this is actually getting really confusing. Is this statement actually part of the license? as really this just ruins the whole pack if it is.

No, Hase is just suggesting an improved version. I personally don't like that line either.
OP: The new licence is much better, good work.

true. that´s just the artist within me speaking. ;) It ties in a bit with what you mentioned below, if my name is on something I want to retain as much control over the outcome as possible.

Just because it isn´t free doesn´t mean that (good) work shouldn´t be credited. It´s pretty much standard practise to mention everyone who contributed to a game, so I think a one-line mention in the credits isn´t too much to ask.
Besides, with the price that low it´s probably not going to be a financially viable product for a long time, so to hope for some sort of advertising effect from it is only fair.
anyways, this is only a suggestion of how I would approach this if I were a 3rd party asset provider.
