does anybody know of a good programming publication, (general programming or game programming) that they would recomend? by publication I mean magizine or something similar. thanks, Joe JoeMont001@aol.com www.polarisoft.n3.net

I don''t mean to sound rash, but i''m assuming you haven''t looked very hard, at any Barnes and Noble, or Borders, or Waldenbooks, or B. Daulton (whichever is in your area) there are many publications covering game programming..

there is a couple game developing magazines, as well as at least a couple dozen game programming books.

as for books i''d recommend, i''d say ANYTHING that is published by the WAITE GROUP PRESS. nearly every book i''ve read that is published by them is top quality, and easy to understand.

well maybe you should have read my post better. I don''t mean books. I mean magizines. and yes I have looked. I don''t want to purchase a subscription to a magizine that I don''t know anything about. that is why I asked for any recomendations.
