ok. i have a little problem here. it''s not a programming question, but it is related to DirectX 8. no i have a DELL labtop. kind of old. Pentium 150: no mmx. 48 megs of RAM. and a really crappy sound card. i was using DirectX 5 { i think, whatever comes with Windows 98 } and nesticle worked fine. so i decided to install DirectX 8, and now the sound is choppy. i''ve tried different sound card drivers, different resource settings, but no difference. has anyone encountred this? any ideas?
