I''m looking into starting on a Ultima style RPG.. classic isometric-down view. I''m designing this in VB, and would like to know if there are sites out there to help me in creation and design. Specifically Visual Basic Isometric gaming (DirectX would be nice, later, but not specifically now). Anyone know of where i can look for help? Thanks!

Well, what are you going to use then? GDI?

I''m working on an isometric engine in VB right now, it uses D3D (7.0 right now, but I''ll port it in a few weeks) and looks pretty cool IMHO. It supports rotatable 3D-meshes and is reasonably fast.

So, if you have any questions about iso graphics in VB, you can ask me if you like. (e-mail or ICQ)

I haven''t found any tutorials on the topic yet, but I no longer am in need for any anyway
