Hi there, I''m trying to write a type of landscape editor. my first goal is to make it wireframe by plotting points on the screen (x number across, and y number down) and then connect the dots so it looks like a grid.. but i can''t figure out a method to plot the dots so for example there are 100 rows of dots and 100 columns of dots all (screen_width/100), (screen_height/100) pixels apart.. any ideas? or am I going about this wrong? thank ya very much. Scott p.s. and if i get this working, i''m probably going to have troubles with connecting the dots so it looks like a grid.. but that comes later. thanks again.

It seems to me that you are planning on doing the grid thing in 2d. It would be much easier and more beneficial if you do it in 3d I think. I am planning on doing one myself also. I can''t take using random generators anymore, and placing objects as well as buildings is just a pain. I have a lot of experience in 3d, but the gui is what is holding me back currently. If you have experience in gui''s, we could possible work on this together. Contact me at if you are interested at :
