Actually, no, we weren''t. I would hope a planned move would go better than that. For some reason, the server just died on Saturday. Our server admin, who is physically with the server during the week, lives about 2 hours away, and he couldn''t make it in to fix it. Normally, remote tools are sufficient to take care of any problems we''ve had when he''s not at work, but they all failed this weekend.

We ARE however moving to a new server, hopefully this week, and we''re going to try to minimize the downtime.

May I suggest a UNIX (FreeBSD) based server??

There was a Commodore 64 webserver online somewhere not too long ago.. or maybe that was a Vic 20... one of those old machines.

What about a PIC server, or a Hitachi H8 server? Anyone tried one of them?
