Hey, does anyone know how phpBB encrypts the passwords? I'm working on a site for someone, and all his user data comes from his phpBB message board. Unfortunately, it looks like all the passwords are encrypted in his phpbb_users table, and that might make it difficult to authenticate using his table. Any help is appreciated. A very quick dipp in the PHPbb source gave me this line:

if( md5($password) == $row['user_password'] && $row['user_active'] )

Two things:
1. This would belong in the web development forum.
2. Have you even tried to look for the answer or did you just go here ask right away? (It took me 8 minutes to open google, search for and download source, open login.php and find the line)
