Looking at my XP start menu, starting with the most used first, my 6 most used programs are: MS VS .NET 2003 Power DVD iTunes Calculator WinRAR Paint Whats yours? EDIT: Permant quicklaunch items: Firefox Notepad [Edited by - HAM on August 7, 2005 6:35:04 AM]

Click here to patch the mozilla IDN exploit, or click Here then type in Network.enableidn and set its value to false. Restart the browser for the patches to work.

Visual Studio .NET 2003 isn't there because it's in my quicklaunch bar, along with the command prompt.

Actually I just learned something about XP.

I have both Firefox and notepad as shortcuts above the 'most used program' menu.

Neither of those appear in the list, but are used constantly, so I suppose XP autogmagically excludes them since they are permanent shortcuts..

I had never noticed that before.

EDIT: Same thing as what Nemesis2k2 just said...

Bizarrely, my list is made up of programs that I don't use that often.

Here's the list anyway:

Minesweeper;
Winamp;
Notepad;
Nero;
Photoshop;
WS_FTP.

This is what it should be though:

I next to never use Photoshop, so why that is in there I've no idea.
