cd player testing needed (updated)

Original Post
Hey guys I wrote a simple cd player program using the fmod lib. I just want to see if it works as expected on other computers. For those of you not using windows sorry it's is currently windows only. if I can get it finished(I am so bad at finishing projects)I may aim for other OSs. [edit] tHiSiSbOb is hosting the file. CD Player Note: This is no where near the completed project. Just a test. It will only play from the first track and it will (or it should) play through the CD. Please list your tech specs. Also any comments are welcome. [Edited by - Gor435 on August 10, 2005 10:58:20 PM]
Unfortunately, it didn't work. I put in a CD, made sure WinAMP recognized it as such (some of my older CD's don't work), closed WinAMP, and started up your CD app. I tried opening the tray (using your app), and then playing a track but nothing happened. Was there something else I needed to do ?
Specs :
Windows XP SP2
Athlon 64 3400+
2.19 GHz
1.0 Gb RAM
AXV CD/DVD-ROM SCSI CdRom Device

Thanks for the feedback. That is odd though should work. It could be that it is programmed to use the default cdrom drive or cd/dvd drive. Also I know to some this is nothing it's a simple app(even more so with fmod). To me it is an accomplishment that I am pretty proud of(I think I am starting to get the hang of certain things I have been having problems understanding). Since it didn't work I will see if I can fix it where the user can set the drive letter and send you the fix in an email.
worked just as you said it would.
Windows XP SP2
Athlon 64 3200+

can't recall the brand or model of my CD-RW/DVD+-RW drive.
discs used:
cd - audio track only : played (success)
cd - audio and data tracks : played (success)
cd - data track only : didn't do anything (success, but no "not an audio cd" warning.)
dvd - data track only (do dvds even have audio tracks?) : didn't do anything (success, see above.)

The person that it didn't work on had an SCSI CD-Drive. Could your program have trouble working on SCSI? The program did work on an ATA drive as showed by the other person's computer working. This also raises questions about suport for a SATA drive from Plextor.
PS: I would test your program, but all my CDs are in storage.
