Just about to download the DX9 SDK from MS's site but I'm a little worried about what steps I should take in getting the right release. Do I download the Complete DirectX 9 SDK, and THEN the August Update on top of that, or does the August update stand alone?

Just the update will do, if you're on Windows 2000 though, get Aprils release, from then on, they'll refuse to install on win2k.
