I was just watching the news about Katrina. I bet in the next 5 - 10 years they'll be coming out with a mainstream movie about hurricane Katrina. You know, sorta like those movies Volcanoe and Earthquake, but this one will be based on 'actual events'. Who thinks I'm right on this one? And I wonder if any girls named Katrina take offense to it. Oh well, that's my 2 cents. I'm off to work.

of course there will be a movie. i just hope the movie is controversial enough. It only takes time to make movies out of real disasters, there are 3 9/11 movies in the works right now. Two made for TV movies and a theatrical one (starring Nicholas Cage and directed by Oliver Stone).

My name is Dennis, and my hurricane was kind of a flop. Katrinas should be quite pleased with themselves.

Leading up to the hurricane, I heard several radio DJs discuss how hurricanes are always named after chicks. Each was funnier than the one before it, until I realized they weren't joking.
