Hi all! I'm trying to fix this for a friend of mine. She is having trouble with changing text colors on her myspace page. Normally I am good at CSS but today am off very much. If I want to earn some brownie points with her I need to fix this. WOuld someone care to help? This is the code that doesnt work. NOTE: This is my flawed code so if its incoharent thats understandable.

Could you fix it so that everything is in a [ source ] box? (without the spaces) I think some of the HTML in there is taking out some of the other code that should be in there.

From what I see now the line <body text="#3300CC"> could just be set as <body> since you have all the declarations for body in the CSS.

Ah, put in source. I will try and get rid of that in the body tag

I also see in your CSS you have
body {body {

which could be doing it.
You're also missing a semi-color after the color declaration. Also, with the extra body tag, make sure you take out the final curly brace.

Here's what your CSS should look like, at least from what I've seen:
body {     color: #3300CC;     background-attachment: fixed;     background-color: #000000;     background-image: url("http://tinypic.com/8xohz8.jpg");     font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Swiss, sans-serif;     }

That should produce the result you're looking for. Let me know if it doesn't and what errors you're getting.

Hey, with that, I still need the background of myspace to be transparent, and it doesnt change the text color. Help please :D

Try re-writing the CSS with more uniform to it. Take out all the unneeded text, test it on a seperate page and then come back here if it doesn't work. We can't help you if you can't try and help youself in the process.

Ah alright. I need to be less impatient
