I am in the process of designing a new website for our team. I plan to do this in PHP, using MySQL. I did create a simple website in PHP before, with built-in forums, login and news posting. However, I did it all in a C-style, without using objects. This led to much of the database code being repeated in many places. I am now thinking of doing this in an OOP manner. But there are obviously at least two obvious ways to do this: Have an object for each table, or have an object for each entry. I would like to know how others have used OOP to make database management easier for their websites or other applications.

Just a small comment, but, it would seem pretty logical to me to consider each table as an object and each entry as an object, having those entry objects within the table objects.
