I was wondering if anyone here has the VST plugin Colossus. I'm thinking of getting it, but their demos don't really showcase much. They're very limited. If anyone has it, I'd just want to hear a sample of a few of the instruments because if this doesn't cover everything I need, I don't want to have to buy even more on top of that. The instruments I would like to hear are- Lead 1 square Lead 2 (sawtooth) Synth Brass 1 & 2 charang If I had it my way, I'd love to hear every instrument, but the others are real instruments, so I know what they'll sound like. I just want to know what these synth style ones sound like. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

In my opinion, Colossus really isn't worth it. I think that the point of GM sets is essentially to do sketches, so you can later upgrade the samples - after all, the very nature of GM precludes it from having many detailed articulations. If you're going to pay $700-$1000 for such a bloated collection, I would recommend saving the money and investing on individual samplesets you need. Want synths? Pick up Albino 2, Sonik Synth 2, or Ultra Focus.
