I've been making a game in Macromedia Flash. However, as I'm getting close to finishing the game I'm really starting to notice the Flash OCX engine to have sparadic framerates in MSIE and Firefox. Seems it is a problem that can't be solved with further optimization as I made a simple movie animation with no other code except to calculate framerate. Having set the framerate at 31fps, it was jumping between 21-27. So, I'm thinking of using Torque2D or BlitzMax. I've seen quite a few games (Zuma, Hamsterball, Super Gerball) make use of ActiveX (I assume) in MSIE to run the game in the browser window. I have no idea how to do this obviously. Can someone please point me to a resource (e.g. book, web artcile, forum post) where I can find a tutorial on how to do this? I don't expect anybody to guide me through the code here, but with my limited internet searching abilities I have no idea where to go to find out how to do this! Many thanx in advance! -sc2071
