hey guys i have a problem when i try to use .fx effect on an animated mesh it desapears from the screen totally while other .x files that the effect donot include still shown. i thought that the problem is in the worldmatrix that i pass to the effect , so i tried to make all the transformations in the worldmatrix and pass them to the effect but it is still not showing anything on the screen , can anyone help plzzzzzzzzzz

Hi there jad_salloum,
How are you doing?

The Problem
FX file on animated meshes not rendering.

The Solution
If you could please check the following for us and report back ;)
1) Have you tested the mesh with FFP (Fixed Function Pipeline)? The reason
for this is to see if the shader is the problem or the mesh itself.
2) Open the mesh in the DXViewer.exe included with the SDK docs to see if the mesh
works if the mesh is a .x file.

Next, Are you sure you are transforming the position of each vertex with the
worldviewprojection transformation matrix?
e.g. OUT.position = mul(IN.position, worldViewProjection);

I am sure you will get it. Don't get discouraged.
Take care mate.

hi Armadon am fine but this HLSL is making a headack for me thanx alot for all ur help ,
i am using an x File and it worked on mesh viewer , and i am using the diffuse.fx from ur samples to transform the position and just to give it a color for the first step , so now i noticed that i can see the mesh but it is taking the same color of the device clear color which is black that's why i couldn't see it before although i give it a texture in my program so i think i should define the textures in the .fx file right. but the animated mesh is still not moving and a problem happened to it's shape combination so what could be the problem ???
