Hi! I am having trouble rendering my triangles in my 3DModelingProgram. Everything works fine untill I try to select two triangles that overlap. For some reason, there is a jagged line that appears. Here is a link to an image of the problem: http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/7477/errorwithrendering3qe.png The program is written in MicrosoftVisualC++ and uses DirectX9.0c. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like a zbuffer precision issue.. Try using a D24?8 or D32 if you are using a D16 surface. Also try to reduce the distance between the near and the far clipping planes (in your ortho or perspective matrix).

Thank you for the reply! It helped alot!
Finally the problem was that I was setting the near clipping plane to 0.
