It's not sarcastic, that is genuinely the best quote 'evar' on GDNet...

I asked this about 3 years ago and Dave posted the list that they use for the website. GameDev.Net homepage quotes...

I made a VB6 program that ran in my 'startup' sequence that picked a random quote from a text file, which you can grab here if you want. The archive has the list from the thread above plus a 100 or so more that I've picked up over the subsequent 3 years [grin]

I'm pretty sure we aren't supposed to respond to newbs asking for that kind of help with that quote. It's fine in other contexts.

It is an awesome quote, but my favorites are the Perl/RSA one and the 'beam me my clothes' one.
