Half-life Modification "Divinity" Recruiting Description: Divinity will be a Half-Life Modification. The game will be strictly multiplayer. The game genre will be Sci-Fi. The levels are pretty much complete and just need to be compiled using the games .fgd. A few things we want to have are: Working vehicles that run better than the ones in Counter-Strike, ones that do not glitch up so heavily. We would like to see a very cool arsenal of high-tech weaponry, and well designed character models. As for the game-play itself we want a select system to choose game styles. Like: Juggernaut, CTF, DM, and Kill the Carrier. As for the maps, textures, and sounds: That is all working and good. Target aim: Freeware, but we have (in the past) submitted some things to Valve and they seemed to consider our work, but nonetheless we really need to have a strong game (game-play wise) so we need someone familiar with the HL engine. Compensation: Valve frequently considers new additions to their roster of games. By making a great modification and getting publicity with some sponsor sites, we could count on some payment. Technology: Half-Life SDK Valve Hammer Editor 3.5 Photoshop CS Digital Performer Talent needed: We need people to make the game, our current programmer is constantly busy with college. We are looking for programmers experienced with the Half-Life SDK. For any artists, we require a minimum of: 2 Years using Valve Hammer Editor or some Modeling software, for 2D Artists we require 2 years using Photoshop, and for musicians, we require at least 4 years using Digital Performer or Pro Tools. (Some exceptions can be made) Team structure: Currently we have 2 mappers who have been using Valve Hammer Editor for 3 years and also have skills with Photoshop. Our musician has capabilities to contrast an entire orchestra to create intense themes and effects to perpetuate the player to fight hard. Website: Right now the website is being created and then hosted. Contacts: All members use MSN: Cmoose.c@comcast.net Additional Info: Feedback: Encouraging
