Pulling a tooth

So, I am 20 and I still have one baby tooth left in my mouth. The adult tooth is above it, it has pushed the baby tooth to the side but the baby tooth never fell out or became loose. Only recently has it began to become loose (I could feel it when I ate something hard on the side the tooth is). (The tooth is located on the left side, upperjaw, 3rd tooth from the back.) Because I have recently felt it becoming loose I have began to wiggle at it making it even more loose. I have not had a dentist appointment for quite some time now (I just recently got health insurance through my current place of employment). I feel as if I were to pull it, that the adult tooth would not come down into place. I plan on making an appointment with a dentist as soon as possible. My question is, in the mean time, should I get the tooth out or should I wait however long it takes to get to the dentist?

Good lord...if the tooth wanted to come out it would come out. The fact that you have to "wiggle it to make it looser" isn't any sort of indication that you should leave it the hell alone? See a professional. You don't want to screw up your mouth at 20.

Go see the Dentist ASAP.

If it aint costing, and u aint scared, goto the dentist. I still have 4 of my milk teeth, they aren't causing me any trouble though. 19, have my wisdom teeth, and i still haven't lost 4 milk teeth, its really annoying.

What the hell do dentists know about teeth, anyway? the important thing is to get that tooth out of your mouth before it ASPLODE!

A perfectly good alternative to the dentist is attacking yourself with a pliers, or repeatedly beating the tooth (and possibly your jaw/face) off the edge of a door until it comes out. Beware however that this method can result in the tooth breaking, your jaw breaking, your nose breaking, loss of consciousness, and in severe cases, concussion.

I've never.. giggled harder..?

I just set up an appointment with a local (to my work) dentist. Hopefully I will have enough will power to keep the tooth in my mouth by the time I see him. Hopefully it doesn't asplode by then.

eh.. i remember those.. at 20, though? I thought I was slow, still having one at 15. One day I decided I hated the bloody things, and just started pulling. Pulled out five. Oddly, the pain felt... good..
