Brief description: The goal is to create a cross-platform game engine that can handle both FPS and massively-multiplayer games. The basic sturcture of the engine has already been coded but could use some optimizing and restructuring. Target aim: If it all goes well, the idea is to take it retail. Compensation: If and when it goes retail, profits will be split up depending on the amount of effort put in. Technology: Dev-Cpp is currently being used as the compiler and the files are hosted on a SubVersion server (similar to CVS). OpenGL and SDL are used to handle graphics, input and initialization. FMOD is being used for sound but will be replaced later on. The engine is cross-platform compatible. (Win/Linux) Talent needed: C++ Programmers that think logically and that can keep things organized. Team structure: Currently, I am the only person working on the engine.
