All C++ compilers come with this file; furthermore, the particular version of the file is specific to your compiler, and depends on dozens of other files which also come with your compiler. What compiler are you using, anyway? Have you tried reinstalling it?

It's entirely possible that the file is located in a different directory.

If memory serves, the implementation is not required to implement as a header file. All compilers I'm aware of do of course however... but: if #include fails, your compiler installation is pretty screwed up. You may want to reinstall, making sure you've not skipped steps along the way. If it dosn't fail, then there isn't a problem - you really shouldn't have to worry about where it is.

Are you using VC6.0?

If you have a very old compiler it's possible that it might be called vector.h instead of just vector. It's also possible that for some reason you didn't install these files.
