Hello, everyone. This is my first serious attempt to learn game development outside of programming and Photoshop art. I got Maya 6 on Monday, and I was wondering if anyone could point me to free online Maya tutorials for beginners. I mean, a lot of the tutorials I find are for beginners, but they assume that the user knows where each of the commands are. I need one that can walk me through making a cup, in quite a bit of detail, or something of that nature. I hope you get the idea. Any help is appreciated! Thanks, Matt U.

Try googling "maya tutorials", turns up plenty of hits. Not sure how many directly relate to Maya 6 tho'.

The "help" feature in Maya goes a long way. Work through the Learning Movies and the Tutorials. You'll learn a heck of alot through that.
