First I would like to apologize if this is not the proper forum, but since most people here have experience with OpenGL you might be able to help me. Thanks! I have a problem with OpenGL. nVidia graphic drivers should install support for OpenGL 2.0. However, everytime when I reboot my computer, after a few minutes, OpenGL version resets back to this version. Driver version 6.14.10.116 Vendor Microsoft Corporation Renderer GDI Generic OpenGL version 1.1.0 And that means that games like Soldier of Fortune II do not work anymore, because they want OpenGL support for 1.4 etc. Does anyone has a clue why this "reset" happen ? I have GeForce 6600 graphic card, newest nVidia 81.85 drivers. Thank you!

That is a softare renderer, so it is not hardware accelerated, rather using Microsoft's software driver for it instead(very slow). You may already have, but try reinstalling and/or updating the drivers for your video card. Also, with DX, you have a configuration set you can use to modify the performance, but I don't think that exists for OpenGL, but if NVidia installed such a thing when you installed the card, look at it. It would probably be in the Control Panel.
