Hi! Quick question: Is it possible to link a library within another library? I currently have a project that creates a .lib file. I then use simply use it's common .h file and link that .lib file into any project I want. But, i'm now using another library within the first project (the one that creates the .lib) and don't want to have to link both .libs into the final project. So, is there a way to link the new .lib into my first project that creates my .lib? Wow, that was really confusing to explain :) By the way, I'm using Visual Studio 6.0. Thanks!

yes, you can link more than one library at a time into a project. But, I want my library to be as simple to use as possible (i.e. one single .h file and one single .lib file). Therefore, I don't want to have to link multiple libraries into my project.

Another problem I'm wondering about is that the new .lib file i'm using in my project also requires a .dll. This complicates things more as now I need to have my .h file, link in 2 .lib files and have the .dll file in the same directory as my executable. It would be awesome to be able to get rid of the .dll so that again I only have a single .h and a single .lib file for use with any project.

Anybody know how to do this (or if it's possible)? Thanks!
