Ok, I'm trying to do a backlight effect on my webpage. I've gotten it work with IE, but FireFox doesn't seem to want to play nicely. I've tried the z-index with css, also just simply placing the flash before all of my div's(this worked with IE). Does anyone know of any tricks to get both FireFox and IE to behave and perform this effect? To see what I'm talking about here's a link: CLICKY [Edited by - STRATERCAS on October 28, 2005 3:56:02 AM]

That's simply bad design, man! I don't think it's even standard to put an embed object in the background, it's not logical, although it might be possible.
Anyway, if I were you, I'd do my whole site in Flash, simply because what you're doing know is too much work (-ing around).
