In D3DCaps9 I get that the max texture ratio is 0? What does that mean? That there can be any ratio? Thaks in advance.

hmm, a value of 0 - is that from your own code, or from the DXCaps viewer?

I was pretty sure (and confirmed by my DXCaps output) that if MaxTextureAspectRatio == MaxTexture(Width|Height) then any aspect ratio was allowed (by simple mathematical properties)...

Unless you're having problems with your application, I would go with taking '0' to mean you can support any aspect ratios.

Check the square-only and non-power-of-2 caps for your device - see if they give you anything. Square-Only should give you aspect ratio of '1' though...

The problem was on a computer with non power2 textures. Which gave me the ratio of 0.
So for 0 I allowed any ratio and for now it workes on that computer.
