Hi guys, i hope someone here to solve my problem, i have my directx 9.0b is installed on my computer, and i installed the Microsoft DirectX 9.0 SDK (Summer 2004) and i can't run any sample from it cause it says "couldn't initialze direct 3d, you may want to check that the latest version of directx is correctly installed on your system. also make sure that this program was compiled with header files that match the installed directx dll". ok, then i tried from to get directx 9.0c and i tried to install it but it says "The components installed are now ready for use", but it didn't install anything no progress bar appear, no copying for the files were done !!!!!!!!! and when i run dxdiag.exe i see that its directx 9.0b !!!! all the versions that i got are the same, doesn't install directx 9.0c by the way my computer is : cpu : intel 2 MHz Graphics card : Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 , 128MB Ram Hard Drive : 80 GB System Ram : 512 MB my platform : Windows XP sp2. .....etc and i installed the windows also i got the same result. and i want to install directx 9.0c but i can't is there any solution for this ?
