yes I do, my comp can't handle it, barly handles 3, I'm poor
I actually just started playing Morrowind for the first time (took me forever to find it, store after store and every clerk looked at me like Morrowind for PC was a thing of a forgotten past) and I have to say I'm really enjoying it. It's a fun system where you can enjoy reading the books you find in crypts, and you gain skill points for running and swimming which literally get you into shape.
I don't mind robbing people blind when they treat me poorly either.

ArchWizard liked it:

I uninstalled Morrowind half an hour ago. I figured it was time to do so, seeing as I had already defeated Dagoth Ur, prevented the Bloodmoon Prophecy from coming to pass, destroyed the Tribunal, was Grandmaster of House Hlaalu, was Master of the Fighters Guild, was Arch-Mage of the Mages Guild, was regional Factor for the East Empire Company, was chieftain of Thirsk, and couldn't become whatever the highest rank in the Imperial Legion is because a bug allowed me to kill that dude in Ebonheart in a duel before I was supposed to be able to do so. Damn bugs.
A chapter in my life has ended. Specifically, that chapter is "Chapter Phi: ArchWizard Plays Morrowind. A Lot."
I feel very tired.
My current chariter is a male nord ranger
ranger -bow,longblades,axes,block,lightarmor,mediumarmor,armorer,alcemy,athletics,security
lady sign
strong in a fight, my first chariter ever that used shields... most used 2 handed swords and spears, war hammers

Morrowind, isn't that the game that takes like 7 and a half minutes to beat?
I <3 morrowind, I didn't like it as much as daggerfall but that didn't stop me from getting it on the release day.

Its also that single-player game that you play for 300 hours and still see new stuff. IMO Morrowind have more content than SWG and WoW put together.
My tip: dont look at FAQs and stuff and play the game as you want. Its the only RPG out there that gives you so much freedom as a character since Fallout 2. Even if your char sucks compared to minimaxed characters, you can enjoy YOUR adventure immensely.
First thing I did with my last character was to kill every blade in sight. S
crew the empire, the emperor, the people or any prophecy. I just want a huge treasure heap ;)
Yeah I played Morrowind... the greatest MMORPG never made. After spending about 14 hours straight playing in a world I couldnt share with another soul, stealing countless items with no real value from bad AI and stacking them in a cave where I killed some NPCs; it was then I knew I had to quit. But alas, 2 years later I'm at it again. But now I am content with the knowledge that some form of "Radient AI" is to replace my real world friends in the near future.
*sigh*
*sigh*
I love that game, I owned it on the xbox. Only thing I didn't like was that you couldn't get mopre than one hundred magica naturally unless you pick the right birth sign. Most summon spells take over a hundred to cast, so I couldn't use them without cheating or makining a 100k+ magic item. Luckily the expansion pack has that robe with double mana on it.
I gave nearly two hundred fifty hours to that game, can't wait for oblivion but my comp sucks also and I don't want a xbox2.
My charactors were a: aragonion mage, kajiat mage, and a imperial mage. I love mages in case you couldn't tell. All my mages were experts in longswords and wore heavy armor, so they were more of magic casting knights than sword weilding mages.

My favorite character was a dark elf wizard with moderate sword skill. The easiest way to fight in that game is to get a ring with +HP and +stamina, and the final ownage is when you get one with continual replenishment by using Summon Golden Saint + Soul Trap + Grand Soul Gem. Take that to the jeweler and the game is basically over (for combat anyway).

I had the non-expansion one before I got the upgraded one. After I had beat the game once I decided to check online for glitches and stuff. I found on gamefaqs the whole 'put a grandsoul gem in, change to constant effect, put in a petty gem' snd used that to make two amulets, one with 10 points levetiation and one with 1 point heal. When I switched to the expansion set I still had them but couldn't make more with the glitch. My flying was slow so I just put on the good ol' BOBS to go faster.
Favorite thing in the game was the Ring in the first expansion, that turns you into a werewolf.
Well I can't figure out the OP, but is this a good time to point out that oblivions release date has been pushed back four months?
I played morrowind 3 recently - in preperation for oblivion. Unfortunatley I couldn't deal with the slow movement so I made myself a pair of uber boots. It all went downhill quite quickly after that. I'm interested, did the xbox version provide anything in the way of modding tools? It's kinda impossible I guess.

Morrowind was entirely too easy to minimax in. It was pathetic. Did they honestly think nobody would try making intelligence potions while under the influence of intelligence potions?
I could go on for hours about this game. Damn near every feature of that game was 90% of the way to being sheer perfection, but the remaining 10% made the feature unbearable. Being so close to greatness make the ultimate failure that much more painful.
And yes, I've put in my 3000 hours playing the game too.

I love that game! I don't play it much anymore after having completed about every possible thing in the game. However, I still have Bethesda's game programmer job prerequisites tacked up on my wall. And now that I know ES4 is going to be for PC too, I don't have to buy a 360! This thread rules for that reason alone. Thank heaven.
I've been just about everything in the game, and beaten all the main quests. I'm about done with it, after having poured literally hundreds of hours into it. My teachers are crying.
