I hate those f**ken cut scenes . I hate the f**ken cut scenes . Thats why I loved halflife , you dont have to pause and wait for some f**ken cut scenes to load and sh*it. I hate those freaking cut scenes. If I had my way , life would be just fine , but the world is too much and it makes be cry .Sometimes I feel like grieving , but I must be wise , because Time is not on my side.

Perfect Example of such things:

Sonic Adventure

Stupid cut scenes. Those really pissed me off because if I had to go back because I died or something, then I''d have to watch the whole freekin cut scene again. It would have been a cool game, but because of that I give it a 1 out of 4.

Hmm, the C&C series proves that cutscenes can be done well. And that you can implement skipping them. (you should watch each of them once though... worth it!)

But I hate non-skippable cutscenes.

The only cutscenes I''ve really enjoyed are the ones in the final fantasy series, but that''s mainly just because they''re extremely well done. Generally, though, it seems to me that cutscenes either show a lack of engine versatility or creativity on the designers part. If the engine supports it, cutscenes should be part of the game as scripted elements (like half-life) simply because it''s a game we''re playing, not a movie damn''t!

Starcraft has some cool cut scenes.
The ones in Quake 2 were stupid, except for the intro.
And, as said before, the ones in final fantasy were nice.

Ahh yes. All the final fantasy games have cool cut scenes. Metal Gear Solid has good scenes also. And the intro to Q2 wasn''t so bad either. Sonic Adventure though....

In game cut scenes that can''t be stopped and run for half an hour (*cough*Rune*cough) should rot in hell. Sure they''re ok the first time... for a few minutes, but after that they get boring.
