Hi, I been looking all around the internet to find the answer to my question about 3D dos games programming. And before I starting writing this message, I looked around the messageboard and couldn't find the answer. You see, I want to do 3D Dos game programming, but I don't know what language to use. I already have made some 3D Windows games, but I want to make 3D Dos games. All my tools are made Borland, and they are excellant tools to create the game, but I don't know which one to use. My Developing Tools: Borland Pascal Borland Delphi Borland C++ Builder Borland C++ Borland C So out of all Borland Developing Tools, which one is the best and easiest to use to create 3D Dos games? Hi,

I been looking all around the internet to find the answer to my question about 3D dos games programming. And before I starting writing this message, I looked around the messageboard and couldn''t find the answer.

You see, I want to do 3D Dos game programming, but I don''t know what language to use.

I already have made some 3D Windows games, but I want to make 3D Dos games. All my tools are made Borland, and they are excellant tools to create the game, but I don''t know which one to use.

My Developing Tools:

Borland Pascal
Borland Delphi
Borland C++ Builder
Borland C++
Borland C

So out of all Borland Developing Tools, which one is the best and easiest to use to create 3D Dos games?

So, you decided to change persona again Rodney?
Here''s the answers -->

Borland Pascal --> Can do DOS games, not sure about 3d, but good for learning
Borland Delphi --> Windows only
Borland C++ Builder --> Windows only
Borland C++ --> if this is the command line version then it can do DOS, and with a library or two you could do 3D
Borland C --> same as for Borland C++

If you are serious about making 3D games in DOS with Borland only tools, then you will want Borland C++ an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and then read the help file that comes along with it. There are also DOS C++ tutorials all over the net, check them out. If you know you''re Borland tools, then you would have already known this. You''ve pissed a lot of people off by coming in here and trying to act like you know what you''re talking about and then asking such a basic question that shows you don''t. If you know some programming, then I apologize, but you would''ve been best off coming in and admitting that you don''t know what you''re talking about and then asking the questions. Try going here:
New? Start Here and read that. That should get you some starting info.

We are here to help, but acting cocky doesn''t get much help. Being nice helps alot.

I am sorry for all the problems I have caused at www.gamedev.net.

Two more questions:

Which of my tools is best and easiest to use to create 3D Windows games? Because my 3D Windows games are kind of crappy.

Also, where can I get a tutorial for create 3D Dos games using Borland C++?
