I recently installed the new fire fox on my computer seeing as it had a thread on gamedev. It took away one of my favorite engines which was dictionary.com. I tried to go to fire foxes web site and install the dictionary engine plugin thing. And it didn't install right now I have this: Image hosted by Photobucket.com Anyone have this problem or know how to solve it? Also, I would like to have the dictionary one back. Answers.com would probably work fine as a substitute.
Chess is played by three people. Two people play the game; the third provides moral support for the pawns. The object of the game is to kill your opponent by flinging captured pieces at his head. Since the only piece that can be killed is a pawn, the two armies agree to meet in a pawn-infested area (or even a pawn shop) and kill as many pawns as possible in the crossfire. If the game goes on for an hour, one player may legally attempt to gouge out the other

There is a folder for search engines, call 'SearchPlugins' You just need to put a file or two in there for each engine and restart,....

hmm I was about to offer to mail you them, but it seems dictionary.com is built in and not from a file.... [sad]

Any idea how to remove those "blank" spaces at least? I checked the searchplugins directory but it seems theres nothing that would show some sort of blank plugin.

Make sure you look in the searchplugins/ directory in you profile, not the one in the Program Files. You will see 2 files in there for each plugin:

.src = XML that makes it work
.png = little icon for the UI

You should be able to create one by hand if you know enough about dictionary.com. Here's the one from 23ae.com for reference:

# Search Plug-in for 23AE.com (http://www.23AE.com)
# by Prince Mu-Chao

version = "7.1"
name="23 Apples of Eris"
description="23AE.com Search"
method="get"
action="http://www.23ae.com/index.asp"
searchForm="http://www.23ae.com/index.asp"
>

resultListStart=""
resultListEnd=""
resultItemStart=""
resultItemEnd=""
>

update="http://www.23ae.com/plugins/search/23ae.src"
updateIcon="http://www.23ae.com/plugins/search/23ae.png"
updateCheckDays="3"

The "input" element with the "user" attribute is the one that gets filled from what you type in the search box.
