Am I missing something in my preferences, or isn't BB code available? Writing http://test.com is way simpler than 'a href="http://test.com/"'http://test.com'/a'. Or is there some reason BB code is disabled? Also, automatic linking of web adresses would be nice since so many people around here are lazy and never link the adresses they provide (so you have to copy/paste to see the page they're referring to).

For the most part, there forums here don't support bbcode, aside from the italics and bold tags.

Registered users do get limited support for html, so you can create a link using the html anchor tag:

Chess is played by three people. Two people play the game; the third provides moral support for the pawns. The object of the game is to kill your opponent by flinging captured pieces at his head. Since the only piece that can be killed is a pawn, the two armies agree to meet in a pawn-infested area (or even a pawn shop) and kill as many pawns as possible in the crossfire. If the game goes on for an hour, one player may legally attempt to gouge out the other

Unregistered users can use anchors, image tags and a few others.

EDIT: nevermind this post, my brain seized.

This is a custom forum software package, so technically BBCode isn't available at all. We do have some BBCode styled tags supported though, and you can use most basic HTML formatting in your posts.
