Hey, I was wondering what would be the best language language to use for a rpg level maker. I am using visual c++ and directx. I have visual basic 6.0. I want the graphics to be somewhat like chrono triggers. What language would be the best for this task. And does anyone know of any tutorials on the internet that tells you how to make a level editor.Thanks. "Good, evil,I got the gun" Ash- Evil Dead

VB is very good for level editors because you don''t need speed. Also, I''ve heard MFC in Visual C++ is good. Delphi also. If you already know VB though I''d just stick with that for now.

Hi there,

very good reason to use C++Builder,
this makes editors very easy to make using the
standard windows gui and all you need to do
is include your own classes (Already written in C++)
