Team name: DistortedWare Software Project name: Distorted Graphics Library (DGLib) Brief description: This post is looking for programmers to either help develop a 2D graphics library or develop software *for* the library to show it's capabilities and get the name out there. DGLib is a 2D graphics library that gives a more "clean" interface to 2D using Direct3D/DirectX Graphics (making it easier and less complicated). Target aim: For now, let's keep all software as freeware. (It's not THAT good.) Compensation: Volunteer work only. Great way to meet other developers and, for some, develop your first game using the library. Technology: C++ on a Windows platform with the latest version of DirectX. If you're developing the library, then you'll need to know DirectX Graphics 9. However, if you're developing software from the library, then no DirectX experience is required (it's just good ol' 2D programming). Talent needed: Programmers and 2D Game Developers Team structure: It's just me, so far. (Quite the reason why I started this topic) Website: http://www.dist0rted.com/ Contacts: dist0rted@dist0rted.com (E-mail) dist0rtedbox@hotmail.com (MSN Messenger) Additional Info: If you need more information at all, then feel free to contact me about that as well! However, don't send me a PM unless you contact me saying that you did because I never check them. Thanks, Steven Welch [Edited by - dist0rted on December 4, 2005 2:17:26 AM]
