iPod video

didn't find anything in a search of the forums. so sorry if this is somewhere else. I'd like to attain a program that will convert .avi, .wmv and other such video formats to the standard .mp4 formated video files that the iPod video supports. thanks

AVI is just a wrapper to an audio/video stream, it's the codec used that really matters. VirtualDub should be able to encode to an iPod-friendly format.

yeah i found videora and it works very well for me. I have been able to dowload several movies to my ipod and have had no problem with wmv's. I have all the Pure Pwnage episodes on the iPod now. Went through the tutorials and it was as easy as setting a few basic options and pushing the right buttons.lol.

Um, how do you for tv shows make it so it is play all. Because when I decript my dvds they only do the first button. Which is normally the first episode.

also new important note to add
when running the DVD decryptor you might not be able to run another program running from a CD in your DVD drive. It could catch a few people off gaurd.
