Improving VS.NET code editing

I've used eclipse for a while now and LOVE the editing features it provides. I've been trying to find some plugins or something for VS.NET that add some of those features, but so far am left in the dust. Has anyone found anything good to add some nice features to the VS.NET editor? The kinds of things I would love are - ctrl + click (or another key sequence) to go to a reference. ie if you hold control and click the myFunc() in the code myObj.myFunc() it will take you to where myFunc() is defined inside the myObj object kind of like it was a hyperlink. - Refactoring - nothing fancy here, just renaming a variable and having references to that variable also changed. - Reference highlighting - This is the feature I love the most. In eclipse when you click on something, it automatically highlights every reference of that variable/object/class/keyword/etc in the current file. It makes reading and tracing code cake. It even puts little bars by the scroll bar to mark it so you can scroll there easily. Being able to see where a value is set or changed inside a file near instantly really makes modifying code faster. Those features are all so handy once you have used them for a while. It makes working with code that's not yours 100% better. I'd love to use eclipse for my other projects, but it's not always an option. I know eclipse has a C/C++ plug in, but I have the feeling that getting it to work with the visual studio tools for advanced projects would be difficult if not impossible. Has anyone found features like this for VS.NET? Does VS.NET 2005 have any major editing advancements over 2003?

I'm not sure if you meant free tools or not.

The company I work for uses Resharper. It is made by jetbrains, the author of the very exceptional IntellIJ IDEA Java IDE

Either is fine. I've found that pretty much everything in VS.NET costs money if you want quality (with a few RARE exceptions).

Resharper looks pretty decent. I came across it earlier but didn't see to many features. However, after looking more in depth it looks like it has a lot of things I want, plus a few more I haven't used yet but might like. (like the reference highlighting using different colors for read/writes)

Thanks :)
