Whenever I create any type of VM, and load it, i get this error:

Reboot and Select proper Boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device
The floppy drive is being accessed too... I'm running this on XP Home, which I know isn't supported, but it should still kinda work shouldn't it? So, any ideas as to what I should do? Cheers!

You need to boot the VM from something, as the virtual hard disk is created empty.

Put your boot disk in the real floppy/CD drive, and go to "{Floppy|CD}/Capture physical drive". Or, if you have a floppy/CD image, go to "{Floppy|CD}/Capture image" (or similar).

Don't forget to also use the menu in the VPC to install additional addons. With that you can drag and drop between your real computer and the virtual and do a lot of other things as well.

Alright. Thanks

Do you have to worry about corruption to the main OS using VPC? Any security things you have to worry about? Anything I shoudld really know? :P

Cheers

You should install some virus and spyware prevention mechanisms to the virtual operating system in addition to the host system. The host's firewall is usually adequate to filter the virtual network traffic, but it's best to put up some kind of firewall to the virtual system too, just in case.

Some threats can break out of the sandbox, if you've got a real shared folder between the parent and child systems. If you do want to share a folder, make sure you don't share the host's system directories! In addition, don't share any directories that are included in the host's PATH environment variable, as these are vulnerable to malicious intents if a hacker gets any access to them.
