I'm learning C++ and I've gotten well into it, but I was reading another book and it told about Binary Trees. It wasn't in my book, and it wasn't on the msdn CD that came with Visual C++. If I want to learn near everything about C++, is there a direct manual or something that I can read?

A binary tree is a data concept and is not a part of the C++ specification. That being said, this should provide you with enough information on it to be able to reproduce them.

The "binary tree" concept is independent of language, which means it isn't related to C++ specifically but you can have them in C++. C++ isn't the only programming language.

So a binary tree is like a basic component of math that you can implement in C++?

Ah, you're one who's learned C++ first it seems. Try learning Pascal or something easy, and everything starts to make sense. The difference between language function and concept will make sense. C++ creates programs by you programming it. The way you program is by learning the language. It's kind of like any other language, you can learn the vocabulary, but you need to understand the grammer, the structure, how to create sentences, paragraphs, papers. Using the language to create something is what a concept is. Programming concepts can be applied to multiplpe languages. Some languages have features that can make that concept more robust, faster, or easy.
We should do this the Microsoft way: "WAHOOOO!!! IT COMPILES! SHIP IT!"
