Accessing the forums

I am currently on my school's Mozilla 1.7.12 on Fedora Core. From the front page, I am forced to access the forums by clicking on one of the recent posts, because the drop-down menus do not work. When I place my mouse over the "community" button, a drop-down menu appears. When I mouve my mouse down to click on "forum", the drop-down menu disappears as soon as the mouse leaves the "community" button. My suggestion: fix the bug (by having the menu stay where it is) or at least allow me to click on "community" and have the menu appear permanently (or until I click on community again).
