Does anyone know if Microsoft''s X-Box supports/will support Open GL ?

Yes it will. Nvidia will provide it.

You sure about that? I know the NV20 can do openGL just fine, but I thought I read that MS only wanted DX stuff for the xbox... and since MS has written the kernel, I am pretty sure they won''t have a opengl32.dll (or whatever)

AFAIK, they require DX8 for Xbox.

nvidia have said they will do opengl drivers for the xbox which begs a question.
what will ms do if the xbox gives more performance/features using opengl than there own d3d?

Michael Abrash has stated that there WILL be OpenGL support.
_________I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure...

This may shed some light on how to get the SDK. It''s not going to be made available to just anyone, there''s a review process and you''ll need a demo reel of some kind to even get in the door.

Zedzeek... why would Microsoft need do anything if the OpenGL implementation on X-Box is better than the DX implementation?
They''re both on the X-Box and what most people don''t tend to realize is that MS are not dead-set against OpenGL. If they were, they wouldn''t provide any GL tutorials on MSDN.
